This Norwegian Boy is enjoying Norway's national cheese, Gjetost. This cheese is made from goat's milk, has a sweet carmel-like taste and is dark brown in color. It is made from the liquid whey instead of the curd and there is no ripening period. Gjetost is a semi-hard, non perishable dessert cheese that must be sliced paper thin. The cheese slicer was invented by a Norwegian to do this thin slicing. The goat is going after a special treat too, the flowers on the windowsill!
