Lefse is a traditional Norwegian treat that is served during the Christmas season. It is usually served with lutefisk, potatoes, meatballs, and all the trimmings. Lefse is made with mashed potatoes, butter, flour, sugar and cream, and rolled very thin. It is baked on a very hot griddle and turned with a lefse stick. It is spread with butter and sprinkled with sugar then rolled up. What a wonderful Norwegian treat!
