Kransekake, the national cake of Norway, is truly a sight to behold. The almond-flavored cake is baked in large to small rings. They are stacked one on another to form a tree shape. A bottle of wine may be placed inside. The Kransekake is decorated with drizzles of frosting and Norwegian Flags. The cake is served at special celebrations like weddings, Christenings, birthdays, and at Christmastime
